Treatment

What is a hair treatment?

These are intense conditioners that have more fatty acids and lipids in them, which will give hair moisture and protection. Healthy hair has closed follicles which means less frizz. Treatment will help repair hair from styling and the environment. Our Intense Repair Deep Conditioner used weekly  will work to restore hydration and protect hair against future damage. Just like nutrient packed foods, ours will hydrate and strengthen your strands from the inside out. Formulated with honey and mango butter, it will lock in moisture and restore damaged hair in the flash of a light.

How it works

Massage our Intense Repair Deep Conditioner into freshly washed hair and let it sit for up to 20-30 minutes. It is totally up to you, choose your time and how intense you want your treatment. Place a plastic cap over your hair or sit under a hooded dryer for 20-30 minutes or use a hand held steamer.  Infused with Argan and jojoba oils, it will leave hair smoother and shinier. It also contains moringa, thyme, and arugula that explode on contact to deliver hydration and moisture.

Hair treatment vs Conditioners

Above information was given about hair treatments. Now let us learn about conditioners, since the two sometimes are confused.  Conditioners are surface acting products that provide protection and strength to the hair. Conditioners do not penetrate the hair, but provide a microscopically thin protective film giving smoothness and compatibility. Our MOISTURE RICH  daily conditioner is formulated with botanical extracts, such as green tea and cloves to help boost shine and strength resulting in smooth, manageable hair.

How Often Should You Condition Your Hair?

How often you condition will depend on your hair type and your conditioner of choice being used. Rinse out conditioner can be used after every wash, typically a few times per week. If you have oily or fine hair this may weigh down your hair. If you have coarse, dry, curly, or color treatments you stand to benefit from daily or every other day conditioning. This is because these hair types tend to be on the dryer side, and may gladly accept a little more love of moisture. Conditioners will replenish some of the moisture that shampoo strips away. Conditioners moisturize hair after chemical treatments, like coloring and straightening. Conditioners will also help hair to recover from heat damage received by hair dryers and hot styling tools.

Leave in conditioner

A leave-in conditioner simply means to leave in your hair until the next wash day. This type of conditioner is used to moisturize mild to moderately dry hair and to repair damaged hair. Generally, you want to apply a leave-in conditioner once per week. If your hair is curly, dry or damaged, you might want to try applying it more often like two to three times weekly. Our QUENCHED LEAVE-IN Conditioner is an absolute miracle worker leaving your hair soft and smooth. It pulls on the nourishment received from glycerin and honey, along with argan oil, to heighten moisture levels and strengthen hair. This quenched leave-in can be worked through towel dried hair, but can also be used on dry hair to tame flyaways, and add some shine, making hair more manageable and beautiful on the eyes.

Let us sum it all up

How often you should treat your hair depends on your hair type and the type of treatment or conditioner being used?

Treatments should be done two to four times per month. If your hair is severely damaged or dry, you should opt for once per week treatments.

Typically, fine or oily hair should use a rinse out conditioner two to three times per week.

Those with curly, coarse, or dry hair should condition more frequently and should utilize a leave-in conditioner for optimal moisture.

Happy treating, and conditioning you all. Share your images with us during this process.
